Hello — I’m Willie Pietersen, the developer of E-Truth. By day I work as an electrical engineering technician; by night, I build and maintain this app. I’m also a husband and a father of three — living in South Africa.
I believe in the Trinity of our God, The Father (Elohim Jehovah), the Son Yeshua and the Holy Spirit - Ruach HaKodesh.
I am also a person who respects different people's views about the Scriptures, and when you give a comment on one of the articles, please respect other people's views too, so let your comments always be in love. As you saw, I pronounce the Son as Yeshua, but I surely will respect it if you prefer to say Jesus.
Many Bible apps today are filled with adverts, pop-ups, or paid features. I wanted something different — something simple, genuine, and respectful. E-Truth is built around three core principles:
E-Truth gives you full access to the Bible with zero advertising and no premium upgrades. Nothing stands between you and the Scriptures.
Your account is your own personal study space. You can:
I personally use “Yeshua” when referring to the Son, but I fully respect those who prefer “Jesus.”
E-Truth exists to build unity, not debate. Over time, brothers and sisters in Christ have offered feedback that has shaped the app, and I am deeply grateful for that.
At the moment, E-Truth includes the King James Version (KJV). This is due to copyright restrictions and the cost of licensing modern translations, which can be very high.
However, I plan to add more translations in the future — including South African languages — as permissions and resources allow.
I may also add the Apocrypha in a separate section for those who want to study it.
E-Truth is not a company or a business — it is simply my offering to my Heavenly Father and to anyone who loves His Word. I build it alone (with some help from family and friends), so new features may take time, but the goal remains the same:
To give every person a peaceful, ad-free place to read, study, and grow in truth.
I hope E-Truth blesses you the way it has blessed me while creating it.
Thank you for being here.
Kind regards,
Willie
